You’ll either burn out the filament way too fast or you just won’t get enough heat to do the job. Whether you’re curing ink fast with shortwave UV or drying parts with medium-wave IR, the specs have to be spot on. We use quartz that can take a beating. If you’re cycling power in a freezing cold factory, our tubes won’t just crack under the pressure. They hold up.
The Stuff They’re Made Of
We stick with high-purity fused quartz. Why? Because it lets the maximum amount of UV through and doesn’t fall apart when it hits harsh industrial chemicals. And if you need something specific—like for PET blowing—we can add coatings to shift the wavelength exactly where you need it. Plus, we use the standard connectors you’re already used to, like R7s or Sk15. You can just pop them into your existing rigs. No rewiring, no headaches, no calling in an electrician for a simple swap.
The Reality of Heat
Let’s be honest: high-wattage tubes put out a ton of energy, but they also create a lot of waste heat. If you cram a 2000W tube into a tight housing without enough airflow, you’re going to fry your electronics. It’s a mess. To keep that from happening, we give you the actual heat dissipation data upfront. This way, you can make sure your cooling fans are actually up to the task before you even install the lamp. It keeps your gear running longer and keeps your line moving.
