
Dealing with Electrical Noise in Multi-Press UV Setups
Running a few large printing presses in one room is basically like creating an electrical war zone. Between the high-frequency switching and the massive power draws from all those UV curing stations, you’ve got a ton of electromagnetic interference (EMI) floating around. If your lamps aren’t built for that kind of chaos, you’ll see it. Flickering. Ballasts dying way too early. Curing that just isn’t consistent. It’s a headache you don’t need.
Why things get shaky
Standard UV replacements usually can’t handle being neighbors with other heavy machinery. Electrical noise leaks into the guts of the lamp, messing with the voltage and making the arc unstable. How we actually fixed it

The honest trade-off
Here is the catch. To get this kind of interference resistance, we had to use heavier shielding and specific ballast pairings.
