Material and Connector Engineering
The lamp body is made from high-purity quartz. This stuff can handle the shock of rapid on-off cycles without breaking a sweat, keeping the output steady. Inside, a halogen fill protects the filament, so it survives repeated starts without burning out. Then there’s the 4-pin design, often paired with an R7s base. It’s a smart choice. It separates the power contacts from the ignition circuit. That means you get reliable, instant-on performance. And the installation? Application and Operational Trade-offs
You’ll find these lamps hard at work in processes like PET blowing and curing. The 400V input and 2500W output give you the heat penetration and speed you need. But here’s the trade-off. That much power generates a lot of radiant heat. So, the equipment around it needs to be rated for those higher temperatures. The lamp itself is easy to integrate, but you have to make sure the machine’s cooling and wiring are up to the task.
